Pour cette 26ème édition, le PTC met en avant, avec son cinquantenaire, la petite trial de Yamaha qui a fait les grandes heures du trial en France. Cette moto polyvalente permettait de zoner mais aussi d’aller chercher le pain, de véhiculer l’étudiant à la fac ou au berger ou  à l’agriculteur de crapahuter dans les pâtures ou dans les champs.

De nombreux trialistes ont utilisé la TY à leur début et aujourd’hui de nombreuses TY font la joie des trialistes vintage, légères, performantes, elles ont un atout charme indéniable. Ce modèle d’anthologie méritait les honneurs au VTC.

Nous exposerons de nombreuses TY, pas que des 125cc, nous retracerons l’histoire de l’aventure Yamaha dans le trial. Nous aurons la présence de Christian Rayer, pilote avant-gardiste de la célèbre TY.

For this 26th edition, the PTC is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Yamaha’s small trial bike, which played a major role in the heyday of trial biking in France. This versatile bike could be used for riding around the neighbourhood, but also for picking up bread, taking students to university, or helping shepherds and farmers to traverse pastures and fields.

Many trial riders used the TY when they were starting out, and today many TYs are the delight of vintage trial riders. Lightweight and high-performance, they have an undeniable charm. This legendary model deserved to be honoured at the VTC.

We will be exhibiting many TYs, not just 125cc models, and we will retrace the history of Yamaha’s adventure in trial riding. We will be joined by Christian Rayer, the pioneering rider of the famous TY.
